What reference did you use to learn more about using Access/Assign?


>_Access and _Assign work the same way in a COM object as they do otherwise. The only thing that you have to be aware of is that (at least) _Assign will not fire if the object is hidden (at least up through VFP 6.0 SP3. I haven't tested this on later SPs). IOW, if you have a method that assigns a value to a property from within the object, that property is hidden externally, and has an _Assign event, it will not fire. Other than that, works exactly the same.
