A little history on Crane. Crane is an ammunition depot basically, the base was established in 1941. When the government was worried about shore bombardment on the coast. They thought that putting several ammunition depot's inside the US (deep inside) would be a safe bet. So our base was born. We employ about 4-5,000 people and the base has land that goes into 5 counties.
