Yes. Visual Studio.NET is a developer tool, not a suite. One IDE, one set of tools, one programming model, one runtime, multiple .NET languages, some of which we supply (VB, C#, C++ Managed Extensions, JScript), others supplied by 3rd parties.

Comprehensive tool for building the next generation of Web applications and Web Services (or something along those lines).

VFP will be marketed as a RAD tool for building high performing database applications, as well as components and Web Services.

If VFP is indeed not something that MS is interested in then maybe we will put our efforts into VB, ASP Etc. But I dont think wait and see policy is fair. What is stopping MS from making a statement which will help it's developer clients ??.
