Perhaps you have hit upon one of the major factors which still prompts many people to say 'Windows is not a real production system'.
Really, with information like this, I would have to agree with those people!
Windows can be useful in several circumstances, but this "limitation" clearly takes it out of the running for countless other applications. I, personally, hope that conditions like this are fully and properly addressed in the foreseeable future, AT LEAST in basic WIN itself! And VFP truly needs a timer which fires at precise intervals REGARDLESS in addition to the timer it has.

P.S. Does anyone know if it is any better in NT???? (One would hope/assume so! (that it *is* better there))
