When I try to truncate a table I get the following error message:

Server: Msg 4712, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Cannot truncate table 'RoutePoint_tbl' because it is being referenced by a FOREIGN KEY constraint.

I have deleted all the rows from any of this table's child tables, so I have no idea why I should get this error. I do not delete any rows from the specified tables parent tables because I don't believe this should be needed. I don't know why I am getting this error.
