I have an application which uses VFP remote views on an Oracle database (via MS ODBC).
On a partial filled keyfield (ie 3 chars and field length 5 chars) I recieve an update conflict error when I TABLEUPDATE().
I assume this is caused by the padding spaces in the remote view (see als MS knowledgebase ID Q170129).
Any suggestions for solving this?
(My client did not accept a general padding with blanks in his keyfields in the Oracle tables)
Will the Oracle ODBC driver show the same problem?
