>I'm trying to convert an appilcatin I wrote along time ago, DBII days, I have it running under vfp5 but I don;t use any forms. I have attempted to add forms, but the problem I keep running into is that I have a different resolution than the users, so what looks good on my screen looks very bad on there's. I have tried to get the users to change there screen resolution, but they don;t like it. they have to small of a monitor. Is there any tricks I can do or solutions so I can create an application that looks like it should in any resolution?

Scott,

Try to search UT by "resolution" keyword, there were couple of threads already on the same problem. The answer basically is: 1) never change resolution from VFP application 2) design your forms in the smallest possible resolution, e.g. 800x640.

If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
