I don't know of anything VFP intrinsic that would tell you which of you custom apps are local vs. production but one way would be to include a custom property in the application object which would hold this information whech could be set when you compile, then query the property from the form. Not sure if I'm understanding your scenario correctly but this may give some food for thought.
