My thanks to Scott and Nick for their time and effort. Thanks to Scott for pointing me in the right direction. I had developed the form using Quick Form. While the Base Class for my fields was "Textbox," the actual Class was "StandardField." I changed to that and everything is now working. All in all, a useful exercise (at least for me) as I learned some new things.
