Here's something to think about. Recently at an enterprise sized client they were getting ready to make a decision on automated testing software. This client was looking at Autotester (
www.AutoTester.com). That product uses a proprietary scripting language to design tests.
From what I saw at the DevCon, the Active Accessibility based autotester being included with VFP 7.0 could be used to test anything that supports Active Accessibility, right? Soooo..... A FoxPro developer could put together a pretty sophisticated, custom AutoTesting solution, if he wanted to. Didn't they say we were getting source-code for that module? Imagine being able to use OOP in your autotester scripts! This could be a really huge market for VFP. A lot of software testing shops are struggling with auto-testing.
