Coding, syntax & commands
Hi George,
When I execute "application.quit" I get an error "cannot quit FoxPro" whether I put it before or after the DDE"Terminate" connection command. Remember I've not created a Word object here. This is in a macro that I'm running from VFP and that I'm trying not to have to rewrite. A significant part of VFP code that deals with Word I have rewritten using CreatObject and all the appropriate VBA commands. That's the part that runs the MSFilter. That part works fine.
This other opens Word for editing via DDE commands. He terminates the connection but that leaves Word open. That's why I thought I could 'SendKeys' to shut it down. The 'Keys' would work on the 'open window' I believe.
Thanks for your suggestions. Have a nice day.
Regards,
Paige
