Becoming very popular and in wide use now, is Allaire's (soon to be Macromedia) ColdFusion being used to create the web front end to databases. Coldfusion will web front end any odbc compliant database product from MS Access, VFP, SQL, Sybase, and Oracle, among others.
You can check the
www.allaire.com website for a list of user groups in your area, which can in turn lead you to training. This is a great commbination with VFP development.
Whenever you are surfing the web, and pages (especially e-commerce shopping basket) using cold fusion show up in the address bar with the file extension of .cfm.
