Client Access Express OLE DB Provider

This component is installed by default when you install Client Access Express for Windows V4R4M0. It is an optionally installable sub-component found within Data Access. The OLE DB Provider is the engine that gives programming environments (like Delphi, PowerBuilder, Visual Basic) and end user tools (like Microsoft Office, Lotus SmartSuite, Lotus Notes) access to the following AS/400 data:

Database record level access to tables
Database SQL statements and SQL stored procedures
Data queues
Programs
CL commands
