If you have the luxury of time and really need the maximum memo data you might look at Abri's Recover 3.0 utility.

They also have a pretty cool propriety technology that requires some application recoding, that makes future recovery of scrambled memo very feasible. I believe their URL is www.Abri.com (I think). Good luck!
