>We just got in some new 700Mhz PCs from Dell. Attempting to run any FoxPro 2.6a runtime app causes immediate I/O error unless there is a CD in the drive. I have been through this with other machines, so I am aware of the older problem, this one is different.

>The previous but similar problem, we experienced on some PCs, when the project or any components were located anywhere other than the C: drive during development and creation of the EXE. I moved my projects and all files to the C: drive, and then all machines ran without I/O error or disk required in CD drive.

>The current problem, is occuring in spite of the fact that all project files are on C:. It also errors out immediately, whereas the previous problem would occur at various points in an app. Placing a disk in the CD drive does make the current I/O error go away.
