Well, we were able to "fix" it by reversing the IPX TCP/IP protocol order in the network client properties under protocol preferences to put IPX first. Today, we were able to fix it by putting the .dll files on the c:\windows \system directory with the exe file running on the server (we aren't doing any typical install - so no registry changes or anything else on the local machine). We were up to service pack 3 and are about to do 5. However, our lockup was at the beginning of the exe running, not somewhere inside it, so I'm not sure it's the same. Does that help any?
>I read your question on the Universal Thread about Novell locking up. I am having lock up type problems during client testing of an enhancement. The app is in the field installed on several different servers and it works fine. But in the test lab they are having lockups at different areas in the apps. Some areas that are not part of the enhancement. So I believe it is more of a Novell VFP problem. I use VFP 6 with no service packs. The test desktops have Novell Client 3.1.1 and the test server has Netware 5.00i. Out in the field who knows what they use, since it is install on many different serves. But one of the client sites has netware 4.11.
