John,
We'd love to have you though I ought to point out that Salt Lake City is about a 15 hour drive from Los Angeles. <g> Perhaps, depending on the size of your entourage and constraints of time (or lack thereof) you could arrange a flight into SLC. We'd be more than happy, again, schedule permitting, to have lunch/dinner with you.
We have not finished the basement of the new home so it'd be a cold, hard sleep on the concrete <g>. Still, you're more than welcome to visit and we'd love to have you. Our plans are to finish the two guest bedrooms ASAP just for cases such as this.

>If it makes you feel any better, I am writing this in Exeter, UK in home # 2. Home # 1 is in Auckland, New Zealand and I head there tomorrow. Home # 3 is being set up in Oxford now. There may be a home # 4 in SanFran later in the year. So I know a bit about moving. Best advice for moving: Don't. Buy a new set of everything and just leave it there! Then you can "move" with only your favourite jersey (I mean sweater), 2 pairs of pants and socks, an electric shaver and a good book in a small bag. Moving the baby still requires a "camel train" effort, though, which takes place at the end of March.
