>What would the most likely cause of a Data type mismatch error when all I am doing is selecting a different table? I have been having this error pop up in what is an otherwise automated process where all I am doing in the code is selecting a cross reference table. Does it have to do with fields that are possibly named the same? I do have duplicate field names in the tables, but both are Character 15 so I do not see why this would cause this behavior.

Hard to say but you can run the code in the debugger and when the error occurs select suspend and you will have the line of code causing the error.
