I did the same , just copied over FPD2.6 and ran it !! Np problem except if you are accessing the same data from DOS AND windows platforms. I have come across situations where DOS locks a recorda and VFP can still update it, although this is probably network timing. Also, (and almost certainly mentioned in other threads), as you move to faster machines some traditional behaviors go out of the window, like SYS(3) for a unique, random name, on a PIII box this will keep producing the same name. There will also be the possible problem of CodePage inconsistencies if you are storing binary data in charecter fields.
