This is a question I've had with developing applications for external customers (ie a shrink wrapped application). Usually I'm dealing with internal applications.

You'd be better off designing the application to run on an agreed minimum resolution. At my current company, we use 800*600 on the user's desktop & so we develop for that. If a user as 104*768, the forms are simply centred.

We've got classes that allow an app to be resized, but the downside of that is when moving the controls, it just looks bad.
