I use the RTF-control box (from VB6). There is a demo of it in the VFP 'samples\activeX\ActiveX Controls\Use the richtext control'.
Using the controlbox in VFP is easy. Getting it to print, however, is problematic. I use the Virtual Print Engine from idealsoftware.com because it the only tool that can deal with multiple RTF's being sent to it. I looked at MS-Word but it can't compete with VPE, not in speed and in stability. The documents I print (Material Safety DataSheets take 15 seconds to generate with VPE and 5 minutes with MS-Word).
The engine, however, does not yet support DBCS or Unicode although I have been able to get it to print Simple and Complex Chinese without the use ot TwinBrige or NJstar.
