Hello Everybody!!!
I have a slight problem. I have been runing a program that would connect using SQLCONNECT and or SQLSTRINGCONNECT (connecting to an Oracle table) and it has worked fine for over two months. Just in the last two weeks I have noticed that I can not get connected anymore.
the code has not changed and even when I try to make a connection in the project manager I get an error.
the error says if I use data souce, username, password:
Connectivity Error:[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager]Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed

if I use the String it says:
Connectivity Error:[Microsoft][ODBC Driver for Oracle][Oracle]ORA-12154 TNS: could not resolve service name

My question is: Do I have a problem with my driver or is it on the Oracle side and I need the DBA to do something or could it be the network?
I have service pack 4 loaded on VS6
