I use the following in VFP 6.0:

SET PRINTER TO NAME "Panasonic KX-P4430"
Set Device To Printer
Set Console Off
Set Printer On

Where "Panasonic KX-P4430" is the windows printer name, this works in Windows 95 & 98 and also Windows NT.
