I am a new member and I need some advise about using Windows9x DCOM.
I wrote an application in VFP 6.0 that uses an COM server created in VFP 6.0. This COM server is stored in my "server" (an Pentium III with Windows98 in a network of 5 computers). The only thing that I could do to work this method is to put Automation Manager on StartUp. I've read in all documentation on Microsoft, and FoxPro Advisor that Automation Manager can be replaced if I have DCOM for Windows9x and DCOMCNFG. I've tried but that didn't worked.
So, someone tell how to do and thanks.
