I have asked around the office here - the general opinion is that there is no equivalent setting in Windows 2000. I guess that would leave you with two options...

1. Upgrade hardware.
2. Upgrade software.

I would throw this thread around - there may be less drastic measures that you could try. Unfortunately I don't know of any...
