OK, I did this, and the result is -1. My Client Access connection is configured as Read/Write (all SQL statements allowed). I'm a little confused.....this same connection allowed me to update an AS400 file, but will not allow me to write to an AS400 file. I turned on trace & the sql.log file shows a message that the "token . was not valid".

Maybe this log file will help me resolve the problem. I would appreciate any further advice. Thanks for your help!
