>I have a very similar (or the same) problem. I'm sorry I don't have a solution, but maybe I can add a few data points. The menus in my application work just fine on the Win98 machines in the office. But on Win2000 machines, we get the behavior you describe: alt-key shortcuts don't open the menu, and even using the mouse you have to hold the button down for 1 to 2 seconds before the menu will drop down. The really odd thing about it is that when the application is running from local data (still talking about Win2000 here), the menus are fine, but with network data I get the weird behavior.

We had a problem much like the one you describe. The solution was to delete the FoxUser.DBF in the directory. The problem started when we fooled around with _DBLCLICK.

The computers here are running NT4.
