Just a crazy question, but, considering that VFP is distancing itself from .NET, has a cross-platform history and Microsoft has no other product (that I know of) that runs on Linux, what are your thoughts on the idea of porting VFP to Linux. It would give Microsoft a development tool on the platform and while I'll admit I don't know too much of what is available for development on Linux, I have to think there aren't too many at the level of VFP.

It gives VFP a whole new arena to grow and compete in and removes some of the emphasis of the VB vs. VFP mess. I've heard that Delphi is being ported. This could be Microsoft's reply to that.
