Larry,

You can start a new thread and direct it to a particular person by putting the member number in the box on the right side of the header.

It sounds like you need some sort of signal from the other process that it's done, and then a loop which checks for that signal and exits when it gets the "Done" value.

If the process itself doen't return a value, you probably need a way to check for the process in the Windows task list, and you will need someone other than me to tell you how to do this. ;-)

Why not search the archives and downloads for this, and if no luck, start a new thread with a title like "How to tell when an external process is finished?"

In my 'click' code I display a message box right before I run the report. The message states 'Wait while Foxpro runs your R&R Report'. I then issue the command to run the report. After the 'run' command I display a message box stating 'R&R Report is completed'. The problem is, the latter message box displays before the report has actually completed. I think by looking at these two messages you can tell what I am trying to accomplish here. Do you have any suggestions?
