The OCX needs to be registered on the clients machine.

IF you use VFP Setup wizard you can choose the OCX you want and the setup exe will register the OCX on your clients machine.

Here we use several OCX's in our application and use the Setup Wizard to create a web setup. Our users go to the web page to install or updater the application to the latest revision.
