I have an SDF non-delimited text file which I am trying to parse and insert into an SQL table. Is it possible to read one line at a time from the text file into a long string variable and then parse it into smaller variables to be used in an insert statement?

I know that I can append from the file into a foxpro table and then insert that table into SQL but there should be a shortcut of some kind I'm just not sure how to find it.
