>>I hope you don't mind me asking for your help on another problem I am having. I have a command button that the user clicks to run a report using software that is outside the realm of Foxpro. In my 'click' code I display a message box right before I run the report. The message states 'Wait while Foxpro runs your R&R Report'. I then issue the command to run the report. After the 'run' command I display a message box stating 'R&R Report is completed'. The problem is, the latter message box displays before the report has actually completed. I think by looking at these two messages you can tell what I am trying to accomplish here. Do you have any suggestions?

>PMFJI, but you can download Ed Rauh's API_APPRUN class from the download section (
http://www.levelextreme.com/wconnect/wc.dll?UniversalThread~?2,54,Forum=5,28,974). This gives you the ability to launch a Windows application and wait for it to complete execution before continuing on. It sounds like what you need.

I know, that R&R could be DOS or Windows version. Does Ed's class work properly with DOS version too? I had the similar problem (e.g. I invoked DOS version of R&R in VFP application).
Which version of R&R do you have?
BTW, I re-designed all reports from R&R to VFP Report Writer.. This was tough...
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
