Hi all, I am quoting a solution for a telephone service company, they want to scan all their paper documents/contracts and associate it to a database.

BAsically the app will have a database with all the customers of the phone company, and if someone request any document for that customer, to locate it and see the documents (scanned) and the option to print it etc.

The thing is the company have more or less 600,000 customers and each customer has in average 5 pages of documents (signed contract, copy of picture ID etc) so it give you about 3,000,000 images.


The app I think is simple, I only need to know what best to do, what kind of resolution, storage media, components for image processing/scanning. etc
Application framework, etc.
