I'm having an odd problem that I'd think should be easy resolve. It hasn't proved to be that way. We have text boxes on many of our forms. We have have one in particular that we designed for dates which is used on many forms. One date field on one form has suddenly started doing something the others do not, and I cannot isolate why. The format we enter our dates is mm/dd/yyyy. When you tab to the date-text box, it accepts the mmddyyyy and puts in the slashes for you. This one form I've checked out and modified is suddenly behaving as follows:

The FIRST time you tab to the field, and start to enter a date, (say 03/14/2000), you only get the 0314 entered and the 4 jumps to the first position of the month and auto fills the day/year to 01/2001. So at the point that you've entered the 4, you have 40/01/2001 in the box. The year autofilled. Once this has happened, it lets you type over it again without any interruptions. So now, to get a valid date, you have to always type it twice. This is annoying. Has anyone ever encountered this? Is there a setting somewhere that causes something like this? None of the other date fields on other forms that inherit from the same object do this? I cannot find anything.
