I am currently using Lotus Domino R5.0a on an NT 4.0 server with SP6a.

We have one main server "hak1" with domain abc.com to which 3 more servers connect via RRAS.
Each of the RRAS connection is given then IP from the same network as that of hak1 (192.168.8.x)

From the domino console i am able to ping the server "hak2" which has the domain (def.com), it works fine. When i try to ping another server "hak3" which has the same domian as (abc.com) it pings it. No problem. The hostname/Ip are properly defined in the HOSTS file as well. The hostname is properly defined under SERVER CONFIG/NETWORK/PORTS as well. The "fully qualified internet address" is also pointing to the server. The connection docs have been created on the same pattern as for HAK2 (which is replicating properly). BUT when i try to replicate HAK3 with HAK1, it fails to relicate (and vice versa). More over, when i check the TCPIP TRACE... it doesnt work saying "server not responding" and "no path found to the server" where as it is trying to resolve the correct IP for the server.

Is it some sort of bug with 5.0a or what??? Also my SMTP routing goes down al lof a sudden... i fix it and it works for a day and then again its DOWN. I try clearing replication history as well, restarting, redefining IPs.... doesnt work after that.

Can anyone help URGENTL please?? Email me or plz reply on this thread. Will be appreciated. Thankyou.
