I am writing my first C/S app (MSDE). I have an invoice form which may post data to 3 or 4 tables. To reduce overhead on the server and to allow me to commit changes all-or-nothing through transactions, I want to set up a named connection in the DBC and open the remote tables as "shared".

I want the user to be able to open multiple instances of this form. I've read that named connections are not private to a form.

How might I set up a named connection for each instance of the form?
