Rahul,
The fastest but not always possible way to transfer data to Excel is to 'copy to ...xls type xls' (I say not always possible for limitations on copy to excel copies 16384 rows - there are workarounds like saving as fox2x table, delimited etc or adding sheets to excel and pasting). Then you can open and do any formatting in Excel via automation.
