What I have done in this situation is to install two printers on the workstation. One is described as Printer - Tray1, the other Printer - Tray2. Naturally, the properties in each direct the output to the appropriate tray. You can test in the application as to whether the printers have been identified properly and then programatically you call the reports to print to the appropriate printer.
