I had a Toshiba previously and absolutely loved it. Problem was it used that track point and I had begun to hate it. I made the decision to get something that offered a touchpad for those times when you can't add an external mouse. The Dell's offer both which is really nice. If the trackpoint is not a problem then I would recommend a Toshiba.
