Hi!

Make an EXE application in VFP. INclude into its project config.fpw file with line 'SCREEN=OFF', so user on machine will not see its main window appearing. Run it from COM object using ShellExecute API function , its description you can find here in the API section.

Its up to you how to define conditions when this application should shutdown (by timer or after work done), is it available for use by other COM object instances (One EXE application for all COM objects) and so on. THere are a lot of options.
