I wasn't willing to add my name to something that someone "might" do, and it might change by the time it was done, and they might finish it and add all the "might" names before I had a chance to read the "real thing."
But if there were a "real," final letter, I would be more likely to sign.
And, I resent talk that makes assumptions about the motives of people who's names aren't on the current list. For one thing, I'm just not a jump-on-the-bandwagon type of person.
