The real solution is to change the driver...well, the real solution is to make HP write drivers that are in accordance with the DDK. However, seeing that they're hesitant to do so...

I think, if I recall correctly, that VFP 5.0's executable was VFP.EXE (6.0 is VFP6.EXE). If the problem is occuring in a deployed application, I think that it would show up in the DLL since the VFP executable isn't deployed.

The bottom line, however, is that the problem is with the driver and not your application.
