With the CD's you almost have to load the whole thing or you're swapping discs all the time, particularly when browsing search results. With the whole thing on one DVD, though, I just keep the disc in the drive all the time and don't have to give up that 1.3GB of hard drive space. Performance off the DVD is fine, except for a bit of a lag while the drive spins up to speed at first.
