I was trying to do this in a Timecard application that logged employees in and out. The employee could always change the computer time and then clock in or out and I didn't want that, so I found a file that changed whenever the clock was set, but it was such a goofy mess that I kaboshed the idea (or looking at the clock).

If you have a similar situation, my advice is to have the workstations hit a server using DCOM or IIS or something and get the time that way. Also, creating a file on a mapped drive should give you the time on the server if you wanna mess with that.
