Thanks again for the help. I didn't have anything in host string and I wasn't having any luck with creating a net service. I did some research at another site and they recommended creating a new database to solve this problem. I did that and now I can connect using SQL*Plus. I also tested my ODBC connection and have my first working remote view. I now look forward to working with your odbc class and starting to do some real development.
