I'm pretty much committed to an AMD at this point, Mike. I asked Ed for his recommendation, and that's what he suggested. (I hate laptops, BTW). I figure a 1.2 ghz or better machine will keep me current for a couple of years.

BTW, I've been meaning to email you. You want those pictures I took when you and Terri (or is it Terry?) stopped by?
