I guess if you only have Beta 1 and are not participating in Beta 2, you should be safe. However, if you are just starting with Beta 2, you need to be sure if you discuss anything it is only features in Beta 1. Sheesh.

I've always wondered if admitting you were under an NDA was a violation of the NDA (not that I'm under one, of course). Wait a second...if you're under an NDA, but say that you're not under an NDA does that violate the NDA?:-)
