PMFJI, but I think you'll find Jews everywhere in the US and Canada. Admittedly, here in the south, there isn't as high a population of Jews as there is up north. For example, here in Cartersville (Bartow County), I don't think that there's one synagoge (and there certainly isn't a "real" deli:-(). However, there are Jews in the area.

Tonight my son going to the Cartersville High School prom (his first). His date's name is Kristy Benowitz. And, yes, she's Jewish. Spent last summer on a kibbutz in Israel. Which reminds me that the name of my date for my first prom (up in Chicago) was Joan Goldberg.
