>HI All!
>I'm using Windows Scripting Host to programatically set the default printer when printing a report. I'd like to be able to determine the windows printer name of the default printer before doing this, so that I can set the default printer back when i'm done, but there does'nt seem to be a WSH method to get this.
>I've seen objects written in VB to determine the default printer, But I don't want to install VB runtime on some 300 or so client workstations...
>Right now I'm using WSH to read the registry value that holds the value of the default printer name under win98, (insert overkill here) but that key does'nt exist under win2k and I can't seem to figure out what key holds that value.

Check set('printer',2)
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
