Hi Christof,

Last time I tried this was in last October. I was getting "RPC server is unavailable" message. Also I was trying to run the DCOM samples from New Orleans DevConnections with no success either. I even contacted Toni Feltman and she told me that she also had problems with "RPC server is unavailable". Her impression was that DCOM under Win 98 and Me is unreliable.
Not that I had to run my DCOM under Win 98, so I switched to Windows 2000 and never had problems since.
